Hi, I’m Tom Alphin, and I’m a User Experience Program Manager at Microsoft. I’ve worked at Microsoft since 2002 and have had the opportunity to work on several successful products that have transformed the business through User Experience innovation.
- Windows 8 & 8.1 – I led the effort to redesign our users first experience with Windows, including investments in User Accounts and Family Safety.
- Windows 7 – I designed the features which allow you to Personalize the Windows UX.
- Windows Media Center – I refined the first experience of customers new to Media Center and the settings experience.
- Office 2007 – I drove the cross-team effort to standardize controls for creating, modifying and styling tabular data.
